Sometimes I like to make up poems for my friends.
I was cooking Frog's dinner last night when this poem popped into my head. Do tell me what you think:

My Mermaid Mate.
I've got a friend who is a mermaid,
She smells a bit like fish, I am afraid,
She likes to come swimming in our pool,
But we try not to let her as a rule.Her fishy scales all rub off on our towels,
It infuriates my Mum, it makes her howl!
'Cos they clog the washing machine,
and although it sounds quite mean,
We'd rather she went swimming in the sea!
