Frog Chef!

apple for mimi
When my dear friend Mimi was feeling poorly, she really wanted to some lovely soup to make her feel big and strong again.

Have you ever heard grown ups say that an apple a day keeps the doctor away? What that REALLY means is, eating fruit helps to keep you healthy, so I've got a nice crisp apple here for Mimi in case she feels particularly peckish while she waits for me to make the soup :)

Roufa was going to do it, but I like to be kind and helpful, so I shall get on with the yummy soup while Roufa makes up a story to cheer up Mimi.

getting the veg ready
Hmm, this celery is QUITE TALL and those carrots are as big as I am!!

fritz the fridge
Don't forget to put everything back in the fridge afterwards, especially in the summer when the hot weather makes food go smelly and strange VERY quickly!

mixer
OOO, it's hard work making this mixer mix! I don't know how Mimi and Roufa manage to do it so quickly!

lift the pan
Phew! this pan is very heavy - it's a good thing that Knut is here to help. He is so big and strong he can lift anything. Knut, do you think it would be easier if we took that tomato off?
No - No, I CAN'T put my bucket down!

stir the soup
Mmmm, that smells FROGTASTIC! Just a bit more stirring and it will be ready....

soups ready
I think Mimi likes her soup with a dash of sauce, and I KNOW this fab cup and saucer will make her BEE happy! (hehe). Can you see that plant in the background? That's Florian, he's not as spiky as Sven the Cactus, but he's still pretty cool. I think he might be a cousin of the spikies in our garden at the beach house, because they came from far away too.

behind the cactus
Now for my famous backwards double somersault and YES! I made it over Sven the Cactus -
Youchers, that could have got prickly!!

knut and frog
That was a good job, Knut! Mimi and Roufa really enjoyed the soup. I thought I was going to fall into that mixer and get all mixed up myself! Thanks for helping with the heavy pan. I'm worn out!
What about a quick bite and then an afternoon snoozle?
